SNF: Packers at Giants

Might be a shootout. The Packers D has major issues stopping the Giants and nobody is stopping Rodgers right now. Should be a good game

We always make separate threads for Sun night and Mon night games, this is a good game, deserves it's own thread

lol @ Sheli Girlling. Misses a wide open Hynoski for a TD, then misses him on a simple dump off.

What McCarthy just did is horrific stubborn coaching. It is one thing to stand by a struggling kicker and not cut him, it is quite another to send him out for a 55 yard attempt. Lunacy. Your best player is your QB, you put the ball in his hands on 4th and 4.

The Packers would score about 55 PPG if Belichick were coaching them.

McCarthy is an OK coach that has had the benefit of having some of the best QBs a coach could ever ask for. But he does have to get credit for developing Rodgers. Rodgers was not this good coming out of college.

I wouldn't. Maybe he gets some credit for developing Rodgers, but overall he is not a great coach. He has a great QB and when you have that, you win a lot of games in this league regardless of coaching.

So you're telling me McCarthy has a less disciplined team than Rex does?

This

He's like the les miles of the nfl wins because of his great qb talent not his game day decisions

Not good Rodgers, somebody was not on the same page there between QB and WR. Giants really seem to have the Packers number lately

I mean we can talk discipline, I think the QB play both coaches get is the big difference between their overall success. Rex is not perfect, but I just don't see McCarthy as a great coach
