McGee has similar skill sets to that of Brad Smith. Possibly a real Wildcat threat.

Not much experience at WR though.

He was a QB in college, former Raider and I am sure Sanjay Lal had input on this move.

not gonna post the whole article, but yes it seems Sanjay Lal is the reason he's here.

McGee wasn't always this confident in his abilities as a receiver. He worked hard to get here. He admits he was very raw coming into camp last offseason and credits Raiders' former wide receivers coach Sanjay Lal (now with the Jets) for his development. The fact that, despite how raw he was, the team still kept him around on the practice squad, is a strong indication of the level of potential he possesses.

The great Sanjay Lal has already brought us the Chaz Schilens. Im sure this guy will be on par with that great move.

Yeah but thats not Sal's fault, more so Tannenbaums.

Look at Kerley's progression this year, just the fact that Schillens has been able to contribute at all reflects well on Sal.

In all fairness, he was brought in to be a 3/4 type. I don't think anyone was anointing him a starter or a replacement to Edwards.

Yep, or the fact that DHB went from bust to starter or the fact that Denarius Moore, a mid round pick, had an immediate impact last year
