Good quote from Pace

"They just don’t understand this organization does everything they can to win games. They bring in great talent, and even better people" (Cimini)

From reading this board, you would think just the opposite.

Of course Pace would say that, he has been grossly over paid for his tenure with the Jets. Not a bust, but not worth the money he was given.

4-7 Jets, bringing in great talent to win the games.

They just signed Mardy Gilyard.

Pace doesn't know which end is up...

It's an incompetent organization and will be completely recycled by the end of next season.

If Woody had any brains he'd replace the entire FO and coaching staff at the end of this year but he won't because he's a lousy businessman.

Pace also said this before and after the OP quote: "You didn't have to worry about so many media outlets in the city, just making up random stuff and blowing a lot of stuff out of proportion that really is nothing."

... "I'm not saying it's all the reporters up here, but its two or three people who come into the building, and their whole goal is to try to start controversy."

And with fools like this running the team we'd have a new front office every 3rd year. And a garbage team because of it.

Tanny had his shot for over 6 years. It's time for a change.

Not sure I get the point you are trying to make. But IF you are calling into question the judgement of the posters of the board, I guess I can address you personally in response.

Hypothetically speaking, IF you believe what Pace said you are an idiot or delusional or both. And you should keep drinking the Kool-Aid.

Just like with players, if there are better ones out there you go and get them. there is a thing called accountability and also analyzing why things have gone wrong with the team. Also one has to look at if the front office learns from errors, repeats them or is taking the team in the right direction.

Keeping guys on for 10 years no more guarantees you success than dumping coaches and front offices every 5 years makes you a bad team.

You may not agree with pace.
To bring up who they are signing now is worthless. The end of the year, bottom of the roster guys, who cares.
Look at the whole picture since woody bought the team. If you can honestly say that he makes little effort to improve the team, you are lying.
Frustrating two years. But the effort is there.

Once again, what is with the loser mentality? Putting forth an effort is the VERY MINIMUM of what he should do. Every team and their FO should give effort. Effort should be a given, something that is demanded, not praised like it is an achievement.

The point is they have failed.

Some of you people set the bar too low. It is about winning. And over the past three years the roster has deteriorated. We haven't beat a winning team in two years. We are a bully team. Beating up on the skid marks of the NFL these next 5 games won't change than.

Right, the owner of a professional sports franchise is a lousy businessman.

What do you do for a living?

Inheriting billions of dollars from your family hardly qualifies as a good businessman. A blind monkey could make money if given billions of dollars to start with. Lets not make it out like Woody was a self created billionaire, who built something from nothing.
