McElroy no brainer. A friend and I went to training camp at Florham Park. McElroy, Tebow, and Sanchez had some drill where they were trying to throw the ball to land in a garbage can. McElroy was the only one who could hit it. Also every pass he threw had a nice spiral.

The entire team stepped up once he came in. I don't think there is any confidence in Sanchez and based on comments made about Tebow the same thing.

McElQuack?

Real original, PeaceFish.

Not impressed myself with his passes BUT he completes them....TO *HIS* WIDE-RECEIVERS, unlike Mark who completes them to the OPPOSING CBs.

At this point, that's all that matters.

There is NO debate.

You start Greg, and go from there.

Sanchez NEVER sees the field again this year, unless an injury occurs.

McElroy should start. He probably fits Rex's don't F up system better. Tebow is just a cluster F and should just be deactivated, no more GD wildcat BS just keep him in street clothes the rest of the way out and ditch him offseason.

I would rather watch amateur badminton. Rather than a Teblow led Jet offence. Win or lose.

McElroy, no question. The whole team played better when he came in. He's athletically limited, but he plays smart and leads his team well. Plus, unlike Sanchez, he doesn't make stupid mistakes when the pressure is on.

Let's see what he's got for the rest of the season.

Start Powell at RB and Cumberland at TE too. Let the kids play. Time for some succession planning.

McElroy is an exceptionally smart QB. He was voted one of the smartest athletes in America is 2010 by the sportingnews. McElroy had one of the highest scores on the Wonderlic test ever for a QB. He won a national championship with Alabama. The guy is a good athlete with brains. The Jets don't have all too many coaches with brains let alone players. Give McElroy a chance to practice with the number one unit all week and see what he can do. Sanchez simply isn't getting it done. I think McElroy Has a bigger upside anyway. QB position is 70 Percent mental and that's where Sanchez is lacking. You go with McElroy for the rest of the season without a doubt. Let's see what we've got in him.

Original. Also not the right reference. My name refers to Tommy Dreamer back in the ECW days. So yeah crazy guy that like to hurt people I guess does apply. I'd change it given the fated reference but dont know how or really care anymore.

McElroy earned next week's start by coming in and doing what Sanchez couldn't - lead the team to a TD drive and avoid mistakes.

See how he does next week and take it from there.
