McElroy. It's the only choice.

Which is why we know Sanchez will be under center next Sunday.

Rex sent a message to the whole team today, and that probably had just as much to do with its improved play (if you can say that about anything they did offensively). To put Sanchez back in the lineup after telling them no one's job is safe would be just as harmful as today's move helped.

Give McElroy a chance to practice with the number one unit all week and see what he can do. Sanchez simply isn't getting it done. I think McElroy Has a bigger upside anyway. QB position is 70 Percent mental and that's where Sanchez is lacking. You go with McElroy for the rest of the season without a doubt. Let's see what we've got in him.
I agree with most of your post.

McElroy's smarts could be just what this no talent offence needs. Minimize the turnovers, and mistakes. Ground and pound and let the kid manage the playing field. I don't think this kid is going to be the teams savior, but if he isn't the teams achillies heel, well then he is one step ahead of Sanchez.

Tebow is a different type of QB, and does not fit this system. I don't think he starts, because thats what Rex believes too. I'd even bet that if Tebow dressed today, that Mark would've finished the game. This move today proves even more so that the Tebow move came from Woody.

Sorry Tebow haters. McElroy suited up because the #2 could not go. If the #2 is healthy next week, the #2 starts.

I don't hate tebow, but I don't believe he ever starts a game as qb of the jets, I also think Sanchez will be given another shot in training camp next season to see if he learned anything, if not then a very expensive bench player

It has to be McElroy if you want to see what he has to offer and give him a chance.

Tebow 2012=Farve 2008. Never meant to be a serious long term solution.

Hard to believe any it makes a difference.

Sanchez will start and might play better knowing the leash is finally short.

I think it needs to be Greg

With the Steelers,Colts, and bengals all winning today the Jets aren't making the playoffs.

They need to see if they have anything with Greg.We know they won't play Tebow

There is no debate. Sanchez can never play again as QB of the NYJ unless both MCE and Tebow gets hurt.

The other move he should have made was to bench Bart Scott for the first half. For making the comments about the fans there should have been something for that.
