Mehta (Loser): Woody Prefers G-Mac
Manish Mehta @MMehtaNYDN
I'm told owner Woody Johnson prefers Greg McElroy to be starting QB. GM Mike Tannenbaum & OC Tony Sparano prefer Mark Sanchez this week #nyj |

Woody should fire those 2 dumasses, and put Rex on notice.

Lmao I don't even care who starts. I saw McElroy throw that long ball that died in the air I know he isn't the long term answer.
And if u go away from Sanchez and his struggling ass prepare to pay 8 million dollers for him to leave and our genius of gm wrote in no offset language so even if we do cut him and he gets signed we still have to pay him 8 mi . As for Tebow halfway through the season broncos players are still talking how bad of a qb he is .. So whatever the choice is fine with me we are not a playoff team by any means.. I just watch games now to see if our your guys are progressing . As far as the qb situation goes pick ur poison. Last edited by Scoop24; 12-04-2012 at 09:10 AM. |

Everyone knows WOODY was the sole driving force behind bringing Tebow in. Everyone knows Woody Johnson is a ****ing dumbass.

I could believe this and here is why . . .
Woody was there on Sunday and he heard the fans when McElroy came in. But, it is a Manish "source" so there's that. |

While we all know he has no ability to judge talent, if your GM can't see at this point that if Sanchez had something at some point, it's entirely gone now. |

Mehta is "told"? Told by who? This guy is the ultimate hack writer, he doesn't even have respect amongst his peers.

What part of "Sancher'z first pass since the Buttbang massacree was an interception" dont they get?
Rex certainly seems more interested in being percieved as defiant.... than winning football games. Mark is mentally checked out. Not all his fault..... He's young, terrible personel decisions, coaching and injuries plus his own inability to learn from mistakes have conspired to create a shell of a man who is going through the motions. As others have previously pointed out, "relieved" is the best way to describe how Santerx looked when he was pulled. - |

This will be funny...
Since everyone is a Woody hater, they'll spew some bull**** about how the report isn't true or something because there is "no way" that the spoiled rich boy could have the same opinion as them. |

Not that I want Sanchez to start, but Woody really shouldn't have a say in this. Rex is the freakin coach, it's his decision. If Woody has issues with Rex's decision-making, then fire the guy

Woody prefers McElroy to start
Oh boy...here we go....
According to the Daily News, Jets owner Woody Johnson "prefers" Greg McElroy to be the starting quarterback. McElroy guided the Jets to a win in a relief role last week, so Johnson appears smitten. The report also says that GM Mike Tannenbaum and OC Tony Sparano prefer Mark Sanchez. None of these heavy hitters want Tim Tebow under center. Ultimately, the final decision will be in the hands of head coach Rex Ryan, who has shown silly amounts of loyalty to Mark Sanchez over the two seasons. We're expecting a decision here by Wednesday. |
