http://m.nfl.com/news/0ap10000001106...not-the-idiot/
+SHARE By Gregg Rosenthal Published: December 13, 2012 at 12:47 PM Braylon Edwards called the New York Jets a bunch of "idiots" last week for their handling of Mark Sanchez. Now Edwards is a member of the team again, and there's a disagreement over who exactly Edwards was talking about. "(General manager) Mike (Tannenbaum) and I both are doing this (points): 'He's talking about you ... no he's talking about you,' " Rex Ryan said during his Thursday news conference. "So we are both OK with it." Love him or hate him, comments like that are why Ryan makes such good newspaper copy. We also can't imagine Bill Belichick or Jim Harbaugh ever going out of his way to sign a guy that just publicly called him an idiot. (That's why we'd like to wish Ryan a happy 50th birthday. Here he is in more awesome times.) In actual football news, Rex confirmed that Edwards is healthy enough to suit up Monday night against the Tennessee Titans. Tim Tebow will remain the No. 2 quarterback, with Greg McElroy potentially active as No. 3. Follow Gregg Rosenthal on Twitter @greggrosenthal. |

I thought Rex handled that well.
I've had people who will come into my office and say all kinds of things that might ruffle my feathers but at the end of the day, they're great workers, it's their way of venting, and they usually say what they say and get back to work. It's the ones who sneak around and try to divide the team that are the real problem. I thought Rex handled that well. |
