There's NO reason to delay the process. Start Geno
Smith.

No.
And even if they could, Jeremy Kerley is our slot receiver. He's young and emerging, let him develop. |

Nope, that's why the Pats continue to be successful, they allow players to leave as they get older and have no emotional attachments.

NO. What would be the point? That's like putting a silk hat on a pig. Besides, when the Jets jettison Sanchez and put a real QB on the team, he'll have Braylon Edwards and Santonio Holmes and Jeremy Kerley. Bray and Holmes did pretty well for the team in 2010. Lets see what they can do for us in 2013. |

zero interest in Welker. Welker is great for a guy like Brady, but i rather spend my money on a number 1 WR and not a slot WR that is going to command much more money than Kerley (IMO), is much older than Kerley and isn't really that much better than Kerley.
Who knows how effective he will be without Brady and that system. Pass |

Can we afford to have another WR on our team that has a case of the dropsies? No. Absolutely not. We can not afford Welker.

list the receivers who have great years with Brady, get a big contract from someone else and continue to excel.
I'll wait. |

Good teams need good football players. Welker is good-to-excellent. Would the Jets be better with him? Yes. Will it be any kind of priority to pursue him? Probably not. Our needs list doesn't jibe with what Welker has to offer and some other team would snatch him provided the Pats themselves already haven't. And plenty of the clowns assessing how worthless Welker is were pretty resolute in calling for patience in letting the greatness of Sanchez emerge. |
