RG3 Out, Cousins to start against Cleveland

If he plays well, you can bet there will be teams inquiring about Captain Kirk. |

Definitely wouldn't mind giving Cousins a shot to compete for our starting QB spot. |

This is definitely the shape of things to come, with the Redskins and RG's career in particular

They will flip Kirk for a #2 if he plays well.
I think RG3 will adapt. He is a smart QB and knows he can't continue to take hits. He doesn't need to play that way to be successful. He can be a pocket passer who is mobile. He has that ability. He is not Vick. |

Didnt realize his injury was that bad, I thought they would play him because of playoffs I think they are 7th or 8th in NFC but a game behind in th NFC East.

If Cousins plays well you better believe they'll flip a trade and get picks for him
Playoffs or not, the Skins still need to build their team, and with no draft picks from attaining RGIII Cousins playing well does more for the franchise than sneaking into the playoffs |

I don't know why everyone is so high on Cousins. I liked him at State, he's highly intelligent but he's no world beater...
Better than what we have but not worth picks to acquire... |

No chance they try and traded him this soon, especially the way rg3 plays and can get hurt. They will keep him for a few more years and then if rg3 is still solid they will cash in with a 1st rounder from some desperate team.
A very good investment to draft a 2nd Qb if the value is there. Some of the pundits were killing the redskins for drafting him after taking rg3 as if it was starting a qb controversy right away. It was a smart move. Just like the pats taking mallet, smart move, good value pick. |

Kirk Cousins definitely had his moments but that doesnt make him a sure bet all of a sudden. In his first game he looked more like a rookie and had two really bad INTs. If he plays well though and people get a look at him, I dont think it would be such a bad idea to move a second rounder for him. He certainly looks better than everything we can get in this draft. In the end it all depends on who our FO and CS really feel good about it...

There's NO reason to delay the process. Start Geno
Smith.

The RGInjury Era has officially begun in Washington.
One-for-one in not completing a full season. Oh, Andrew Luck, you're so much better with less offensive talent. Yes, yes you are. |
