Cleaning house=

Five years of being at the bottom of the league (instead of hopeless mediocrity) .
this doesn't bother true Jet fans as we have been this way since 1968. We have wandered through bad to mediocre players, coaches, fo 's and while we may not fill the Meadowslands we will watch.
That said, the current crop must go as they have proven they will not get the job done.Gm and coauthor are the keys.Tanny has proven he can't manage the cap and Rex has shown no ability to manage a whole team.
Perhaps Woody should do what Leon did, ask the Commish ' who the best GM available is?
That would be a good start as Woody is more clueless than Jerry Jones!

It is not the first time this has happened. 30 years ago the Giants sucked bad, and for a long time. Rozzelle did not want the biggest market in the NFL to flounder . Rozzelle convinced the owner of the dolphins to let George Young go to the Giants to straighten them out.

I previously posted that I thought if woody asked the commish to speak to
Steve Bisciotti to let Decosta go to the jets.

Way too negative

A question. If Alex Smith was the quarterback, and if we started the season and ended the season with a healthy Homes, Keller and Edwards, and if we had an impact OLB, who could get after the quarterback, where would we be. An honest answer, please

Mark lost 1 game for sure for us this year, TENN. We could possibly be 8 and 6 IMO. The NE loss , Texans loss were both games we played well in.

9-7, with the same running game. The jets lost games by 17 or more points that means the jets would have needed to score 4 more times each game to win, that is a lot.

But what is the point, If by some chance Smith comes in next year, 1/2 this team is going to be gone. And If I was a jet fan, after watching holmes for 3 years I would not have to high hopes for that guy going forward.

9-7 11-5 without Edwards. He sucks.

A question for you: Since we have needed an impact OLB (actually more than one) since John Abraham left in 2005 - 7 years ago, and the entire Mike Tannenbaum era as GM - what makes you think he can or will suddenly find that impact OLB now?

Yup, blow it all up and begin over, great idea. This is not a 3 win team. Also, the team is 2 years removed from back-to-back AFCG. The jets have some holes to fill and organizational restructuring. Starting over from scratch makes ZERO sense.

Keep in mind, that so-called great coach up in NE was an abysimal failure until Tammy Brady came onto to the scene. Despite what you will hear from the NE trolls, everyone knows it. Rex has accomplished much more as a coach with the Jets than Belicheat did at NE or Cleveland before Tammy's arrival....that's a fact. To illustrate my case, Belicheat is known as a defensive coach. Yet, the failure to surround Tammy with a competent defense that can win a SB without the aid of spygate is something Belicheat has yet to accomplish. In other words, without Tammy, Belicheat would be giving commentary on Comcast Sports Net.

You f*cks had high hopes for Julian Edelman, Ochostinko, Albert Haynesworth, I can go on. Who the eff are you to tell us who we should have hope for? Go back to that peter puffing website you Pats fans disguise as a Patriots fan forum.

The point is things aren't as bad,[excludingSanchez}, as everybody makes it out to be. Im hearing total rebuild, fire everybody. Tannenbaum yes, Sparano, maybe, but clean house, no.

He won't be here, i hope. And if he is, he better get us what we obviously need. He'd be preserving his job, that he was lucky to keep. Were lucky in a way, other than the quarterback position, this draft is deep at linebacker and offensive lineman
