And your main gripe apparently is that you had to endure me being here this year trying to support the Jets and hoping for a good season?

Oh, the horror of Tebow supporters. I mean, your season would have been oh so perfect if not for our existence.

What a farking joke.
+1 the dillusonal fans who think because tim tebow was standing on the sidelines for 98% of the game HE was the reason this team sucked..!!!

Yep. It's all Tebow's fault that the Jets stink. Not Rex, not Sanchez, not poor RBs, not a crappy OL. And the defense is not exactly all world either.
Special teams? Why the Jets have the greatest ST coach ever.
BTW, Joe McKnight decided HE wasn't going to play yesterday either.
The entire team is a mess. Tebow is gone - good for him. About time (if it's even true) someone told Rex to go f himself. He is a fat incompetent.

Instead of wondering if Rex found yet another way to humiliate Tebow or the person who wanted Tebow on the team, you jump on the RUMOR bandwagon? As if Rex would have Tebow dressed and active if Tebow had refused to play? And you're confused as to why Ryan would waste a roster spot for someone who refused to play. Duh - because he didn't refuse to play.

Here's a rumor for you: Woody has already told Rex he's fired after the next game. Now Rex's stubborn behavior makes sense! A lot more sense than Tebow refusing to play.

Some of you are trying to rewrite Jets history. Are you the same guys who posted all season about how Sparano and Rex didn't use Tebow in obvious Tebow situations like 3rd and 1? Who saw with their own eyes how Tebow was randomly inserted for one play at a time with no rhyme or reason? Where are the guys who realized Rex and Sparano had been lying to us for months about super secret plays for Tebow? And who blasted Rex and Co. for deciding BEFORE the Titans game to USE TEBOW IN THE 3rd series regardless of how the game was going?

Now that the majority of the NFL's fanbase, players, coaches and ex-coaches, sportswriters, sportscasters, analysts and pundits have publicly stated they're sickened by the way the Jets treated Tebow, and even Tebow-haters are repulsed by Rex's behavior, I understand your embarrassment. But continuing to blame Tebow for everything to try and save face is pitiful. Just stop.

You're not the only ones repulsed by Ryan's behavior. Looks like some coaches and players are distancing themselves from Wrecks as well, not coming back next year.

And during the game today it looked like the players have finally realized that Coach doesn't do what's best for the team - first putting Sanchez above the needs of the team, and then putting his PRIDE above the needs of the team by starting McElroy instead of Tebow. The offense allowed Mac to get sacked 11 times! They're not THAT bad, and the Chargers aren't THAT good. Even Sanchez hasn't sacked himself 11 times in one game.

Here's a clue for you: the TEAM sent us a message today. Did you get it? Are you JETS fans or are you Rex Ryan fans?
IF Woody told Rex he would be fired at the end of the season already, why wouldn't Rex just make Tebow inactive? If he wanted to humiliate him, why wouldn't he have Sanchez active and Tebow inactive to really "embarrass" the poor guy?

IF Woody decided to fire Rex, why would he of offered his DC a contract extension just days prior?

WHY would legit, reliable sources report Tebow chose not to play instead of reporting Rex will be fired considering many stories have been leaked and later confirmed this season?

Delusion is thinking Tebow would have made any difference with this offensive unit.

Why the heck was this pantywaist non-QB who didn't even play yesterday part of the post-game press conference???

I would like to kick Woody in the balls, just once. It would be worth the jail time.

Thanks for proving my point, SG3 and SizzleBear. You resorted to schoolboy bullying instead of addressing the issues in my post. Rex Ryan has taught you well. Very classy.

You're attempting to use logic with a Tebow fan.

Good luck.

You would have been able to get away with that statement prior to yesterdays game but now that we know Tebow basically sat himself out by request the idea that he cares more about winning or losing then himself is proposterous. It's the same type of things as saying you would rather see the Jets win then see Tebow play, that's just not true. Your allegiance is to Tebow first and foremost and Tebow's allegiance is to the Tebow brand first and foremost.

This is the bigger issue. Rex is such a nice guy and felt bad so even though this guy quit on the team Rex thought it the nice thing to do to keep him active.

Hurting the team. Rex must go!

Oh look, its the SOJF leader making another nonsensical point. Tebow wouldn't want out if he was given the starters job. So it has nothing to do with how good or bad this organization is, but nice try.

Hey Boy Genius - This thread is about a rumor that posters here are treating as fact. I simply gave you guys some alternative rumors that make about as much sense as that one did.

It's hilarious that you hate Tebow and the media circus, yet start a multi-page thread to trash the guy when he didn't even play today. All this displaced anger should be directed where it really belongs -- at Ryan, Sparano, Tanny and Sanchez - not at the gullible rube who fell for Rex's BS promises.

Suzy, thanks for your post. Most dilusional Jet fans cannot accept we have a bad football team that is poorly owned, poorly managed, poorly coached and poorly played. They find solace in the fact that it's all Tebow's fault.

The man if given a chance would have provided more fun, more dynamics, more excitement and more wins then any other player could have on this team.

Thanks
