Jets Pass Rush - 4th in Sacks

Just noticed on NFL.com that we are tied for 4th in sacks in the league this year with 46. (Tied with GB). Two teams above us have 47 (Philly, San Diego

).

Guess that sacks are not a great indicator for success (top of the list is Arizona

) - only 5 of the top 16 in sacks are in the play offs - but I found it interesting that we're so high despite there still being a perception that we have no pass rush.

Statistic is wrong. 46 sacks against the Jets. NYJ only have 30 total sacks.

Not sure what is going on with NFL.com... We only have 30 sacks. Good for 23rd in the league.

If you go to the team total on NFL.com is has 30. Their main stats page must be messed up.

Seems ridiculous that they'd list this by how many sacks we've conceded, especially as it's in beside tackles, safeties and so on.

30 certainly seems more realistic ... I guess NFL.com is just wrong?

In light of the mistake made by NFL.com, what they are really showing is that you need to protect the QB to get into the playoffs..interesting.

On another note - Coples on 5.5 sacks is a very welcome sight. Especially given his limited playing time.

If he can start to get those sacks while not committing a penalty it would be ever better. He seems be attracted to face masks.
