My son is 5 and he wanted the Hess helicopter more than anything. He would fly into the room every time the commercial came on, even if he was in bed.
Here is a video of him opening it and saying "Santa, you're awesome!" |

Best gifts were some sunglasses I wanted and a bottle of Platinum Gran Patron which was unexpected... Nice to have on a snowy Texas day. I'm feeling purtty good...
Rest was normal... Jets t shirts and a golf polo, Devils hoodie, a few new dress shirts and ties, some socks, boxers, etc... |

In addition to the 18 yo Macallen, I got golf lessons which I asked for and tickets for Phish at MSG this Friday.
It was my daughter's first Christmas where she knew what was going on and she had a great day. My son, almost one, is still clueless and spent most of the day eating wrapping paper. Can't wait to see his diaper in the morning. |

Just got home from the whole day at my sisters house. I'm off this whole week, so I can stay up late and sleep in all week - that is until my kids need me to help them open their Christmas gifts.
Wife thought they kids had too much, I thought there was not enough under the tree. After she went to bed 'Santa' added a few more gifts under the tree that she didn't know about. Not sure if I am going to catch crap for that but I don't care. I won't be able to buy them toys forever. |

Many Christmases ago my grandfather gave my dad and his two brothers watches with an engraved case back. This Christmas, my dad had an updated engraving done on his watch and passed it down to me. Probably one of the most special Christmas presents I ever got.

My wife never buys me electronics. I usually do that myself. This year she shocked me with an 80 inch Sharp Aquos Quattron Led 3D Smart TV. Sick!

Sopne gave me his old Chicka Chicka Boom Boom book. Nothing else. Not fond of gift exchanging amongst adults. |
