I'm sure his is jus a courtesy interview. There is absolutely no way he is in the same league as Ross, Gamble, or Caldwell.

I wouldn't mind this as an OPTION with Tanny completely gone.

Director of player personnel with the Eagles during their successful run.

This.

That said, I think the right thing to do is to give him a courtesy interview.

Hope it's nothing more then common courtesy to interview someone in-house. I will be livid if he does indeed become the GM.

there goes woody again.looking to go on the cheap again.to tell you the truth.he might be right in going cheap this year.the jets will not be competitive this year.the team has too many disruptions within to succeed.

It reminds me of New Orleans during the police killings' of innocent blacks and the corrupt police dept said they would launch an internal investigation. Bad analogy but still.

I think we have been turned down by the "real" candidates. We might be on Plan F at this point.

LOL.

FTR I think this is merely a professional courtesy. I just want to have some fun with it.

Has anyone reported Gamble, Ross and/or Caldwell have been denied the opportunity to interview? Or have declined the Jets to be interviewed?

Well on the same day, the Jets requested to interview Caldwell so it seems more likely that this is a courtesy interview to Cohen. Otherwise why would they continue with the interviews?
