Pro Football Writers Satisfied w/ Jets

@PFWAwriters: The PFWA is satisfied that the New York Jets are following the spirit of the rules in making their executives available on Tuesday. There is good reason for the NFL’s rule requiring teams to make a top executive available to communicate with the fans through the media within seven days after the end of the season. After discussing the circumstances with the Jets, we look forward to hearing from owner Woody Johnson and coach Rex Ryan on Tuesday.

For the press conference, Rex and Woody should dress as the stereotypical organ grinder and monkey.

Manish and Floria were just destroyed, they both wanted the Jets to be heavily punished for this.

Actually, he was trolling with Florio on twitter. Florio wanted NFL to assess "significant" penalties for not holding a PC. Manish thought that was right on the money.

I'm sure they're both disappointed that the "Jets defy NFL" storyline has collapsed.

Michael Kay said at the top of his show Jets should be fined 1 million dollars. LOL

Can we really call it a "show"? SOOTH's podcast has more listeners than Kay's daily snooze-fest/train wreck.

Translation: The NFL Told the Writers to go **** themselves, Tuesday would be fine, and to stop being such childish little ****s about it.

Woody probably made nice with the rag whiners...with a late $tuffing of greenbacks in their Holiday stockings, to sooth their bruised egos.

A million seems about right. I'd think a Pete Rose style ban for Rex as well would be appropriate.

Has Kay and his lackey spent a moment on the VaGiants' epic collapse?

What I love the most is...Maybe, just Maybe Woody has really learned something this year.

Instead of fighting it out with these fools he went to NFL and let them handle it for them. He's learning to use the system instead of going against the grain. First step to getting this organization on the right track.

As frostlich said, maybe they'll put an asterisk next to our 6-10 season.

6-10*

oh the shame!

I am so relieved that the elitist club of blood suckers are satisfied.
