Was watching it, and jumped out of my seat!!! Destroyed that kid.
Plus, he has one more year in Columbia! He will be number one pick in 14 if he is healthy. |

I can't disagree. Doesn't change the fact that Clowney is probably the best defensive prospect in history. And that you can feel that hit through your monitor.

This isn't basketball, no one player wins anyone a super bowl. The only guys who get close to that level are Brady and Peyton Manning. |

Perhaps. I will give you a name of a kid that could have as high a ceiling as Clowney. Robert Nkemdiche from Loganville, GA. Kid is a flat out beast. He decommited from Clemson earlier this year, and is still considering them, but hasnt committed to a school yet. Just thought I would throw that out there as a kid to watch the next couple years.

He's Big East OPY in his sophomore season. There's no way I'd call him garbage: 6'3", 225 lbs. I'd take him. He is already a better prospect than Sanchez. At least this guy has a huge arm and is at least of average NFL QB size. |

That hit in real speed was outrageous. Clowney looks like a man amongst boys out there. And he wasn't going against Johnny Bago'donuts....he was facing off against a top 10 pick.
The play was reviewed, for whatever reason, and I thought that USC was going to get screwed again (like they did on the measurement the play before) because Clowney hit the dude so hard, his helmet popped off. I thought the play is automatically over when that happens, but apparently not in that specific circumstance. |
