Rex agrees to take a demotion (Assistant HC/Defense). Jon Gruden becomes the HC of the NY Jets, where he plans to run the veer with Tim Tebow at QB.

I really hope some people truly believe Rex would take a demotion. If anyone does, then they are TOTALLY delusional. There is no way Rex would take a demotion under any circumstance. He'd walk out the door and have a new head coaching job within a week. And nobody in the NFL would do that. It just doesn't happen.

There's NO reason to delay the process. Start Geno Smith.

And my guess will be Cleveland - the woman scorned by all these collegiate coaches. God forbid they hire someone who's been working in the NFL. Oh, Cleveland.

But I'm still hoping Francessa is referring to Rex. (Dream big)

Not that this would ever happen , but imaginine if 1 of these desperate teams actually did did hire a woman as a head coach , that would be a shocker

You really think Rex would get another head coach job?

I don't think he would even get a Snif.

DC yes, but I don't think any team would want any part of him as a HC.

Mangini did and Rex has been to 2 AFC Championships. Are you sure you want to stick with that opinion?

... I'm sure Jets fans everywhere would have been thrilled with Darren McFadden's results, better than Gholston, sure, but a guy who started 44 out of 80 gamesand have one 1,000 yard season in 5 years would not be so great for #4

I'm pretty sure many of us are happy we didn't get Darren McGlass.
