It took a little longer than five minutes but I had no doubt he would land a job. I think he and Fisher are a good pairing. And that STL defense has a handful of nice pieces.

Dallas blamed all their problems on the wrong guy and now the Rams will benefit from Ryans release.

I agree. I'm surprised the Cowboys fired him. Considering the injuries the Cowboys had, I thought he did a nice job there.

When he went on his rant about Dallas firing him and them having no clue about football, he said it would only take 5 minutes to get another job. I guess he was right.

Thats good because now way Rob could ever peacefully co-exist here with Rex, it would have been absolute mayhem like mixing electricity and water.

I honestly never thought Rob would end-up with us. He is too talented a coach not to get another coordinators job. Our DC, from everything I've read is going to be Dennis Thurman. Rex didn't allow Thurman to interview for the Raiders DC job last year, no way he would screw him this year.

Thurman is a good coach and is a great choice for DC.

Thurman as the new D.C. of the Jets on paper is still the Asst. D.C. anyway you slice it.

Hope the Rams do worse than they did this year- Schotty and Rob Ryan, lethal combo. I think the Rams D kept them in a lot of games this year, maybe that'll all change now

Rams have a bunch of legit defensive players, it should be entertaining to see them with Rob calling the shots... even though he is a little overrated as a coordinator (only one top ten D in nine years or something)...

Rob Ryan should never have been fired. Jones is hiring Monte Kiffin.

There's at least one owner Woody is better than.

Rob Ryan has done a great job in Dallas. That team has been devastated by a crap secondary in '11 and injuries in '12.

Jones is now taking his best defensive piece, arguably the best defensive player in football over nearly his entire career, DaMarcus Ware, and trying to force him into either OLB or DE in Kiffin's 4-3.

Even Woody Johnson should be laughing at Jones right now.

What happened to Del Rio? Did the Rams fire him? I thought he was their DC........
