Tom Gamble?

I havent been following the last week as I was traveling but what happened to Tom Gamble being one of our top choices for GM? I would have liked the pick.

Gamble was only being hyped by the NY Tabloids due to his last name. Word is, the headline writers had already come up with thousands of puns involving his last name and potential questionable personnel moves and couldn't wait to use them.

Popp is American, and living in North Carolina.

He runs a Canadian franchise.

My guess is that Polian informed Gamble of his converstion with Woody. Then Gamble either came in overconfident not realizing the detail that Jed Hughes planned for this process or due to the timing of season's end and how early Gamble came in and interviewed, was not as prepared as some of these other candidates that may have had an additional week.

Word has it that he interviewed poorly, and failed the zorb-portion of the interview in spectacular fashion.

LOL. Why he would wear razor-studded chain-mail for this portion I'll never understand.
