loser gm candidates

business 101 when you want to build a winning team you hire those that have experience in getting the job done. This is not just in football but in any business. I simply cant not grasp the fact that most of the guys the jets are "showing interest" in are from loser organizations that have not won and have no record of success -do we really need to be interviewing guys tied to teams like the dolphins, Browns and Jaqs as examples that have no recent history of success-at least gamble has ties to an organization that is making some noise

You've got to look at the wider picture of things - success can't be planned for, what you want is competency. Too, people change.

Bill Belichick was bad until he wasn't.
Ditto Pete Carroll
Bill Parcells was great until he wasn't.
Ditto Chuck Knoll.

Even Tanny!!!

The list goes on and on . . .

Hire someone skilled, motivated and with a plan.

Good post.

I like to think of it as some people learn quickly, adapt and improve from it. While other people stop learning as quickly as they used to and regress because of it.

We just need to pick a motivated person who is on the ascension not on the decline.

don't let a good rant get in the way of reality.

This.

Jerry Angelo- Bears are a Loser organization?
Khan- Pittsburgh Loser organization?
Gaine- Worked under Parcells.

Seems like we have significantly more loser posters than loser GM options.

Do you mean to tell me that you don't know any good people who work for bad companies?

Chuck NOLL didn't start out that great either.

His 12-30 record after 3 years had the SOSF who never saw a playoff game ill....
