Yea, but I'm also set to be hired as the LB coach, according to Steinlol.

I remember after he miffed the Tebow tackle at Denver last year, Rex still had high praise for him. He gives 100% effort but just is too slow.

Two years too late.

But I will never forget him knocking Welker's decal off. Very special play. He played his two best games in those playoff wins.

Was a solid ST and backup before Rex allowed him to get exposed.

What you used to say about Smith in the game threads always stuck with me: he's a curse.

Yes. But that is only bc Rex exposed his weaknesses by playing him too much. When he was just playing ST and a handful of defensive plays he was effective.

Nothing good happens when he is on the field bc teams know to exploit him when he is. And Rex always puts him in a man-to-man situation with TE that eats his lunch.

Exclamation

Having Eric Smith being the ONLY thing between an opposing player and the end zone is a scary thing.

No problem at all with him being released.

It doesn't take a genius to predict that Eric Smith is getting cut.

I dunno, when he smashed Boldin in that Favre game vs Cards that was a highlight - I could hear it all the way in the UD

Every team has (and needs) JAGs. Not everyone is a superstar.

The difference between the JAGs and the elite guys is that JAGs play well in spots, while the elite guys are consistently playing well. You can't sign 22 Superstars on your roster, so you need JAGs.
