Cruise Ship Ordeal (aka a Floating Petri Dish) Nearing Hellish End

What a cluster****.
Between the Legionnaire's Disease and this, why would one ever want to go on a cruse?

I've entertained the idea before, but after this? No ****in way.

Cruise ship nightmare nearing end for passengers after hellish trip

This is compelling television.

Kinda like the slow speed chase of OJ in the white Bronco....except it's not a Bronco, and it's full of feces and sewage rather than murderers. possibly

I got popcorn in the microwave.

This is all on Carnival - how the **** do these idiots run out of food?

And why do they allow these *******s at the front of the line to take as much as they want? If you're running low on food, haven't they heard of rationing?

There had to be another way to get those people off that ship somehow.

Lost power, lost refrigeration. The food spoilage on that ship must be massive, and think of how good a hundred thousand pounds of spoiled food must smell.

Side note, I was on that ship a year ago. It was nice before it became a floating cess-pool.

Wow, really?
Hell who want to clean that thing now? Its a Listing Lord Of The Flies vessel now.

Probably better off sinking it as an artificial reef.

Would kill all the fish. It smells worse than your toilet after a couple double deckers from Taco Bell.

Carnival is losing several million per week as long as that bad boy don't work.

I can think of at least another 4000+ who agree with you.

There is something to be said for taking vacations that are driving distance.

How anyone trapped in an office all year would want to be trapped on a floating hotel as a vacation is beyond me. Pretty sure this whole industry runs off the promise of an unreasonably low price--say $99 per person for a 3 day cruise. By the time these (mostly sourthern and midwestern) folks are on the boat, the hidden fees come flying out of the woodwork, but at that point they;re too drunk to care.

Agree. I went on their cruise a year ago and liked it a lot. Of course sailing to the Caribbean in January did help a lot too.

I only went on one cruise in my life, and it was a Costa cruise. The same line of which there is currently a capsized ship floating off the coast of Italy.

Btw, Costa is owned by Carnival. Obviously.
