Turner’s release saves the team $6.4 million under the salary cap. Abraham saves the $5.75 million and Robinson saves $3.75 million. In all, the team got $15.9 million under the salary cap by releasing the three veterans.

#Jets were spurned by SD, so they used 29 to draft C Nick Mangold

Robinson is no better at this point at 31 and not playing well last year.

btw, Robinson's sudden availability wouldn't stop the niners from trying to acquire the best CB in the game.

Thankfully both said no. I can't stand Shaub. The guy is terrible with an awesome supporting cast and great offensive mind. Here, he'd be Favre's hear with Penny's arm, being coached by Schotty....

Lol with guys in other threads calling Abe "one of the best pass rushers of his generation", I'm surprised there haven't already been 20 threads on the strip calling for Abe.

I want nothing to do with him. You can't be the best at anything if you're not playing.
