I waited tables summers in college at the Cape Playhouse in the 70s. You'd get new actors in to wait on each week of the summer. I overheard Fred Gwynne (Herman Munster) once say to Betsy Russell, "I can't get a decent job anymore Betsy. I'll always be that fukin' monster. I wanna kill my agent for talking me into that role." Guy was a huge beast of a man but it looked like he was going to cry.
