I watched this kid in H.S. and he was a great college QB.

He than turned down Tennessee for Texas, big mistake. He would have been a heisman winner at Tennessee and a first rounder, but he fell in love with a coach who is not offensive minded, and while Simms had a good career in college, he obviously wasn't taken serisously by the scouts.

Now he goes to Tampa Bay last pick of the 3rd round. I think he will be a career back-up, unless the Bucs bring in a big time QB Coach for him.

Also Tampa now has 5 QB's on the roster:

Yeah, I saw that pick by the Bucs, and it left me a little confused :blink:
