Anyone think this was a good move? I do. There is no risk involved at all. If he regains a fraction of the form he had a few years ago he could be a real solid addition.

Let's see if that new pitching coach earns his keep. This is a real good test.

The Mets have brought in Erickson, Baldwin and Bottalico for camp-to see if we can get something out of any of them from their best years. These situtions you really have nothing to lose -they get a certain amount only if they make the major league roster
Peterson did a great job developing A's young pitchers-here is hoping he can do the same with Heilman and Keppel for the Mets
