They currently sit at 8th. Ainge has blown everything up in order to get a high pick. He has driven off the best coach, he has traded off some talent and his plot is coming along nicely.

Well, these teams will be above the Celtics in the lottery (probably)

Phoenix
Chicago
Atlanta
Orlando
Washington

The teams that might slip down beneath them,
Philadelphia
Cleveland
Los Angeles Clippers
Golden State

So I'd say they'd be lucky and might get 6-7.

And to think, this draft is ridiculously weak. You'll be drafting that HS power forward from Atlanta if you get #1. Good luck.

All you need is a lottery pick and a dream.

In that case, you would be better served taking that guy on the Huskies. He's actually a senior, a rarity these days. Should be a solid Power Forward in the NBA, along the lines of a young Dale Davis, only a better scorer.

They are sinking fast. Compare their place in the standings week by week, going back the past 8 weeks or so. It seems they are worse off each time.
