The officers and noncommissioned officers responsible for allowing this crap to happen should pay the price.

What the hell were they thinking? How do you as a officer or NCO allow that crap to happen and lower yourselves to the level of the Army you conquered?

The actions of a select few have severely damaged the reputations of the military as a whole. They are a disgrace. Throw the UCMJ at them.

This whole situation has given all the anti-war people some serious ammo. I am someone who is for the war, but I also respect the beliefs of those from different countries. This completely goes against that and I am embarrassed to be pro-war at this point.

Dude, relax.

First of all, the invasion caused a complete breakdown of law and order in Iraq. Those prisons probably filled up rapidly, the General put in charge, Karpinski, had no previous experience with running a prison, all the guard were reservists with no previous experience, what do you think is going to happen?

Low morale and chaos.

So far, 6 arrests were made.

Six. I truly hope they get to spend some time in Leavenworth. Not just for the acts themselves, but for the overall damage it has caused the war effort, which is considerable.

One more thing, I'm certainly not dismissing what they did, 'cos it was disgusting and cowardly. But in the great scheme of things, particularly war, is this the worst thing you've ever seen?

Believe me, John McCain wasn't playing bare ass twister during his stay at the Hanoi Hilton, as a POW of North Vietnam.

The lib's ignore the UN Food for oil scandal, they ignore the terrorist plot and arrests in Jordan, but this is front page news for a week. Give me a break, already.

If you like to get yourself worked up into self righteous indignation, then these pictures are much more practical:

Way down among Brazilians
Coffee beans grow by the billions
So they've got to find those extra cups to fill
They've got an awful lot of coffee in Brazil

You can't get cherry soda
'Cause they've got to fill that quota
And the way things are I'll bet they never will
They've got a zillion tons of coffee in Brazil

No tea or tomato juice
You'll see no potato juice
The planters down in Santos all say no no no

The politician's daughter
Was accused of drinking water
And was fined a great big fifty dollar bill
They've got an awful lot of coffee in Brazil

You date a girl and find out later
She smells just like a percolator
Her perfume was made right on the grill
Why they could percolate the ocean in Brazil

And when their ham and eggs need savor
Coffee ketchup gives 'em flavor
Coffee pickles way outsell the dill
Why they put coffee in the coffee in Brazil

So your lead to the local color
Serving coffee with a cruller
Dunking doesn't take a lot of skill
They've got an awful lot of coffee in Brazil
