we've spent 113billion or so via the Iraq route.

I wonder what 50 billion or so would do for a massive covert operation to do whatever it takes to root them out?

iraq is not al qaeda..that 110 billion was spent for different reasons..

We fought a war in afghanistan and took out their taliban hosts..unfortunately we didn't seal off tora bora and Bin Laden and many more slipped away..
Now many are on Pakistans border (which we cannot cross)..So out troops wait on the afghan side for the Pakistanis to ' root them out''...
The only way to fight them is to keep up intelligence and try an ilfitrate them and track down every lead..

Now this is a great idea for a thread. Unfortunately, our leadership chose to go to war in Iraq despite the fact that Iraq had nothing to do with 9-11 and has no link to Alquaeda. In fact Alquaeda was created by the CIA when they recruited jailbirds from Iran and Iraq to go and fight the Russians in Afghanistan. After the defeat of the Russians those jailbirds were not allowed back into Iran or Iraq.

Alquaeda needs to be infiltrated domestically and internationally and to be exposed in that manner. Too many people say that it can't be done. That is bull**** it can be done. Take a good look at the grounded hijacker. I forget his name but he missed his flight. Well you know what I mean. All that has to be done is to study how he got hooked up with Alquaeda and try to get in the same way for starters. How about all of the hijackers. How did they get in with Alquaeda? All of those detainees in Guantanamo are great specimens for study as they hold the key for infiltrating those cells. Too bad our lack of military and central Intelligence would rather put hoods on them and waste time filming stupid and perverse homosexual acts out of spite for what happened on 9-11.

It can be done but there are some very high level politicians and global leaders who don't want this to end. They would rather profit from the ongoing hatred, murder and terror.

The only way to stop terrorists is to terrorize them; that is the only language they know and as the adage goes, "you must fight fire with fire".

People will not like it and think it is sick but the process does not matter, only the end result.

Read "One Day in September" about the Munich massacre in '72 and how Israel turned the tables on the terrorists in the hunt for the people involved and had Lebannon shaking in fear.

The fact is you must play their game; behead them while invoking the name of Allah as you do so, drag their bodies through the streets and get them so afraid of what is going to happen next that they will eventually turn against their own that are doing the same. Trying to fight an enemy that will kill you at all costs and doing so in a sanitary manner will never work.

Rules of engagement must be lifted. Winning hearts and minds is fine, but unless they know fear they will not succumb.

It won't be pretty and there is going to be plenty of outcry but that is the only way to destroy these people bastards and exterminate them off the face of the earth as containment and/or negotiation will never work.

The act of beheading an individual in such savage and evil way is just further evidence of the kind of enemy we're facing. The enemy has pure evil in their hearts. People seem to have forgotten what these people are capeable of. The scum who made that video are not human. They are animals whose only reason for being is to elliminate all who disagree with them.

It sickens me to think of all the people who were making a huge deal of the prisoner abuse at Abu Garib. If those people had information and humiliating them was a way of obtaining it so be it. It wasn't the smartest move but it doesn't compare with the evil that we're facing.

Understand, the group who perpetuated the killing is an islamic terrorist group which has been operating out of Iraq for many years. For those who say that Iraq was not a refuge for terrorists, your wrong. They've been there the whole time.

I would hope that people could put their partisanship and Bush hatred aside and come together to confront this enemy.

we all knew right after 911 that this was going to be a difficult enemy to fight. They have commited another disgusting act. We also knew it would be a very long fight. Many are losing sight of that fact and expect the war to be over now. Unfortunately its not that simple. The war on terror will last for many years and several presidential administrations.

Comeback, yet another bigotted remark. Unfortunately, you and most of the world do not know who the enemy really is. The enemy is terrorism and the terrorists have no fear as they can hide on the fringes of society and survive. These thugs have done so for many years and will continue to do so until they are infiltrated. This thread is a great idea but instead you still choose to make remarks based on your lack of intellect. No insult here as your comments show your emotional weakness and choice of hatred over a group of people instead of dicussing a plan to defeat global terror.

You think the Israeli's have done a great job. Actually they have done the opposite. I am not a big movie fan but there was a movie way back with Harrison Ford and Brad Pitt. I think it was called "The Devil Within" or something like that. The plot is about Pitt being a child probably about 5 or 6 years old whose family is massacred by Union Jack mother****ers and then the grown up Pitt becomes a big time IRA terrrorist. That is what has been going on in Israel for decades because of Munich. That unfortunately is no solution.

Yeah, Berg died a brutal death but we can not allow ourselves to lower ourselves to their level. The day we do is the day that terrorism will have won and that methodology will remain constant in global politics and domestic affairs. You think that Israeli family doesn't s**t when they walk down the street. Just like that Palestinian family doesn't s**t when they walk down the street. In so doing they still fear going walking the streets because they know that their Nazi or Likud or whatever the fk you want to call their ruling party continues to manifest terror with their actions. I am not a big movie fan but there was a movie way back with Harrison Ford and Brad Pitt. I think it was called "The Devil Within" or something like that. The plot is about Pitt being a child probably about 5 or 6 years old whose family is massacred by Union Jack motherers and then the grown up Pitt becomes a big time IRA terrrorist. That is what has been going on in Israel for decades because of Munich. That unfortunately is no solution. Yeah, Berg died a brutal death but we can not allow ourselves to lower ourselves to their level. The day we do is the day that terrorism will have won and that methodology will remain constant in global politics and domestic affairs. You think that Israeli family doesn't st when they walk down the street. Just like that Palestinian family doesn't s**t when they walk down the street. Terrorism has won in Israel as tit for tat attacks brom both sides persist. Many on this board are biased in favor of the Israeli's. However, it takes two to tango and Israel is just as much at fault for the world that they have carved out in society for their Israeli citizens.

First thing I'm thinking is dropping a few neutron bombs into the mountains of Pakistan and Afghanistan.... Let the radiation work on the sub-humans for a few weeks.... Then what happens to filter out of the mountains....we could napalm them.... That's just for starters.....
