OT: Here They Come!!!!

I live in Eastern PA, and on the news this morning they showed some pix of these noisy little red-eyed bastards swarming all over the side of a fence in PA somewhere - guess it'll be any day now.

I freakin' [b]HATE[/b] bugs and snakes - should be a lotta fun, huh? [color=green] [b]NASTY[/b].[/color]

If your house is close enough...they wake you up they're so loud. It only lasts 3 weeks right?

They are harmless to humans. I think as grubs they can do damage to tree roots (not sure though).

They are some of the ugliest bugs around, but I love the sound of summer :)

They are more of an annoyance then anything. They fly into you and when they die they are a pain in the ass to have to sweep up. The worst part is the noise. It is just constant.

They are in Princeton NJ already. Saw them yesterday. Big ass and butt ugly. They seem to be around Oak trees from what I could tell??
