Kevin has usually been good with the media, but this is very inappropriate.
Especially in light of Pat Tillman.

I wasn't offended though, but I felt it was used very badly.

cmon guys please give them a break. all sports teams consider games a battle. all coaches say when you get on the battlefield. this whole thing is blown way outta proportion. KG pulled out all his guns tonight in that victory. 31 points 21 rebounds 4 steals 4 blocks not too shabby.

I hate this PC world we live in. Get off the guy's back. War analogies have been used in sports for ages. It isn't like this is the first war the United States have ever been a part of. We just live in a pollitically correct world where every little statement gets blown way out of proportion. It's getting quite ridiculous.

1st of all, i'm against war. I also love my country & don't need my patriotism questioned; It's 2004, one would think the world could survive without any furthur "liberation of other nations" when we all know that is it really occupation for strategic and economic benefits.

I don't feel that humans should die so that Halliburton, Bechtel can reap enormous profits.

I also still don't understand why some seem to glorify Pat Tillman, as his sacrifice is no greater than any other soldier.

KG meant no harm, as others have stated. Get a clue.

This is just another example of a pampered few who live in a totaly sheltered world who just don't get it. As a resent example Kellen Winslow Jr. With the world as it it today athletes of this mind set don't look at the big picture. What was acceptable 2 or 3 years ago is not today. I can only imagine a Mother or Father of one of our Militery people in Iraqe or Afganistan what their thoughts of his comments were. Unfortunetly todays athlete who only attends Basketball U. or Football U. don't know or understand the consiquences of their rambeling on people in general.
