Yep, He IS the real deal. He was sort of a Ben Wallace-type player in college, except he could score with the best of them.
I mean, he SUCKS! The Magic should take Dwight Howard #1 overall! Then the Clippers can get that over-rated scrub Okafor! |

He has a much bigger upside than ben Wallace b/c he can play D and he can score. Wallace has shown some glimpses of an offensive game in this postseason but he't not a great offensive player. When watching Okafor he reminds me alot of Alonzo Mourning w/ a better shooting touch. Okafor will be a good player and is worhty of #1.

Emeka is too small. The problem is that he's going to be a power forward, not a center like he was in college. Not to mention he has had a lot of back problems.
This is going to be one of the worst nba drafts ever. |

He is going to be a great NBA player. Great work ethic. Can block shots with the best of them. He has gotten better every year he was at UCONN and will do probably will get even better in the pros. Also- watch for Ben Gorden to see where he gets drafted. He will be a very good shooting guard in the pros.

He may have a good career, but dont look for him to be a superstar. He is too small to play Center in the Pros, and will have to play Power Forward. Plus he has a recurring back issue, which is never good. Especially for a College kid.
He is worthy of the #1 pick, but I would not be surprised to see Dwight Howard turn out to be a better player in the long run. He's been compared to Tim Duncan, but with most High School kids will have a big learning curve and may end up being the next bust. |

A very similar player to Ben Wallace, but a tad better touch around the rim. Only 2 negatives are that he is a 4, not a 5. But he has no offensive game for a 4 in the NBA. He would best be served on a team that has a very good shooting 5, so he can play down in the blocks. Also the back issues are never a good sign for a guy who relies on his athletic abilities as a major part of his game. Should be a solid pro, but not a superstar. Worthy of the #1 pick in this year's class, but in a year like last year, probably falls to middle of the lottery (in the #6-#8 area). |
