He is actually a better passer than shaq, and is a great passer for a big man overall. But definatly not shaq. But Kobe will love that he is a great passer, just what Kobe wanted.....a PASSER not a Scorer!!

The lakers are done. Vlade is not a dominant force....Kobe does not know what it means to be on a TEAM....but he will soon learn, those rings were because of "Shaq-Fu and crew" than "Kobe and his hommies"...

Vlade is actually an ok player at center. You are never going to get anyone to replace Shaq. Shaq is in his own universe as a player.

I'm interested to see what type of system, The Fakers run next year. The triangle offense is gone along with Shaq and Phil Jackson.

The Lakers will be a playoff team but they are not winning any championships. It will be interesting to see what offense, Rudy T uses. Kobe will lead the league in scoring and Odom will do a good job inside but there are question marks all around that team.

I see about 45 to 48 wins for them and maybe the 6th or 7th seed.

the Knicks are in the easier division and conference, and they're going after Eric Dampier (will happen) and Vince Carter (10% chance of happening)

Should have made a run for Dampier.

The real problem for the Lakers is that a frontcourt of Odom, Butler and Divac is not a physical one, and will be beat up in the paint, especially against the likes of Minny, San Ant., Sac, Phoenix, and probably Memphis and Denver.

I could se the Lakers playing around .500, and just squeezing in as the 8th seed, maybe the 7th.
