So Ben Barns claims he pulled strings to get George Bush into the Texas Gaurd when he was Lt. Gov. of Texas. The only problem with that story is the fact that George Bush entered the Texas Gaurd in May of 1968 and Ben Barns did not become Lt. Gov. of Texas until 1969. How does one pull strings to get a guy into the Texas Gaurd when that guy is already in the Texas Gaurd?

In fact at the time he states helping GWB get into the guard he was UN Ambassador to some African country...

Barnes was actually the ambassador in Geneva when GWB entered the guard.

This is going to be on 60 Minutes...let's see if they question the timeline and as I've said previously about the "john kerri hour", let's see if they give equal time to the Swift Boat Vets.
