OT: Why do women lie about their ages?

I don't get it. Does it really pay to make people think you are younger? Recently, I found out through a friend that a gal I dated in law school lied about her age to me. I was 23 at the time and a 2nd year law student when i met her. She looked very sexy and god knew i wanted to knock those boots. In casual conversation, she told me she was [b]28[/b]. That was cool, 5 years is no big deal. So we dated and knocked boots for 5 months. Then we stopped seeing each other when i returned to NYC to work as an intern for a firm. Well, my friend just told me that she was[b][u] 36[/u][/b] when I dated her. He found out because she was having an engagement party and she was happy to find her soulmate at 45!!!!

WOW, so all this time i had dated a milf and didnt even know it...

I think a big reason is because women have no idea what matters to men other than the obvious. Personally my wife is 2 years older than me and some of her friends have married younger guys as well. I never saw the draw to young girls (21 or so) other than the fact that their bodies tend to be a bit tighter without the effort that an older woman needs. However everything else about them, inteligence, attitude and experience ;) is no where near as good as an older woman. I think it is a holdover from the old days when a 35 year old woman didn't have the resources at their disposal to keep fit and sane since they were usually burdened under 5 kids and a husband that was out with his younger, unencumbered girlfriend by the time she hit 27.
Age is such a silly thing to worry about. My father married a woman that is 21 years younger than him though so maybe there is something to it. :unsure:

I am sure one or two women on JI.com have lied about their ages...

Women fibbing about their age doesn't bother me. But Rule Number 1 for guys when it comes to the Women's Age Thing is this: If asked, do [u]everything[/u] in your power to resist the plea from a woman to "guess her age". Like the fine print in those car commercials say - "Do Not Attempt". It's like trying to block John Abe. If you miss high, you're trampled under foot. It happened to me, and I still have the cleat marks to show for it.

You should checkout Hollywood....I went to school with a Soap Opera actress that has also had small roles on Friends, Ed, ect.....

On the Net databases and in print, she claims to be 5 to 7 years younger than she actually is B)

I think half the crew from 90210 in the early 1990's were in their 30's and playing high school students and none put forth their real ages at the time.

Have you ever seen an actress that looks younger than her listed age, outside of Suzzane Summers?

Halle Berry actually goes on talk shows and openly claims she's 38, while all her agents and all media listings claim she's 36.

In Hollywood, I can't say I blame them. Age discrimination is rampant for women, so.....

Women lie about their ages because anything over 30 is considered "old", the term MILF isn't the compliment you all think it is, men usually like women that are younger than they are....in a nutshell.

But then again, what do I know. My 76 year old self suffers from dementia....explains why I'm actually here.....
