Moyers Exits PBS With Attack on 'Right-Wing Media'

Taxpayer-supported Democrat operative Bill Moyers is showing his true colors (all blue) by tainting his exit from PBS with an attack on what he describes as "right-wing media."

"I'm going out telling the story that I think is the biggest story of our time: how the right-wing media has [sic] become a partisan propaganda arm of the Republican National Committee," the Associated Press today quoted Moyers as saying.

"We have an ideological press that's interested in the election of Republicans, and a mainstream press that's interested in the bottom line. Therefore, we don't have a vigilant, independent press whose interest is the American people," claimed Moyers, who next week is leaving his weekly series, "Now."

Moyers failed to mention that, unlike himself, the few conservative media that do exist aren't on the American taxpayers' dole.

He also failed to mention that for decades the left-wing media establishment, ranging from PBS and NPR to the New York Times and the CBS of Walter Cronkite and Dan Rather, has been and continues to be a partisan propaganda arm of the Democratic National Committee.

Perhaps the wire story is satire, but it describes the extraordinarily biased Moyers as "a citizen-journalist" who was on "a truth-telling mission during his three decades as a TV journalist."

The story does admit that "humanist" Moyers used to be a top aide to the very liberal President Lyndon Johnson.

Moyers' liberal rants have been increasing in recent years, perhaps owing to the increasing success of the Republican Party, which now controls the White House, both houses of Congress, the Supreme Court and a majority of state legislatures and governorships.

This past Election Night, Moyers even went so far as to suggest that if Kerry won the election, the right wing might stage a coup to keep him from taking power.

Wonder what moyers thinks of fraud stories like the blather piece that got him fired...I would like to ask Moyers if he thinks Viacom/CBS/Schiester & Scheister/60 Minutes is " the left-wing media that has become a partisan propaganda arm of the Democratic National Committee"

on another note- like him or not (and I'm not a fan):

ABC Locks Up Hannity

Top talker Sean Hannity has the best of both worlds - his ABC Radio network talk show is No. 2 in the nation and he has the most-watched TV debate show on cable news, Fox News Channel's "Hannity & Colmes."

The New York Daily News reported Thursday that ABC, fearing that Hannity would be lured away to Fox's growing radio network, has "quietly" signed the conservative talker to a reported five-year, $25 million deal.

"ABC inked the Hannity contract several months ago but has kept the deal hush-hush," the News said. "ABC faces a big threat from Fox News, which is capitalizing on its cable TV dominance to expand on the radio."

Fox scored a victory earlier this week, striking an agreement to feed its news broadcasts to 172 Clear Channel outlets, most of which are ABC stations.

ABC execs note, however, that even if all those stations drop ABC, the network will still have more than 2,300 news affiliates.

Meanwhile, Hannity sits in the catbird seat, telling the News that he's "very happy with ABC and with the Fox News Channel."

What a shame...Moyers will actaully have to get a job where the government doesn't employ his whole family without a care about the marketplace. This from a amn who worked for Lyndon Johnson, who's greed and depravity makes Clinton look quaint, and ran the military into the ground in Vietnam . Without question, Moyers worked for this pig of a man without a peep. And this guy has the balls to
say word 1 about Bush or anyone?
