two considerations:

-depending on which evil corporation you work for you may want to call the HR department as a lot of companies will match donations.

- go to Ebay....a lot of these places are selling stuff with 100% going to the relief effort.

I sent to the Red Cross, and was able to specify Hurricane relief.

Exactly. My [evil corporation] is matching employee donations 2 for 1 in addition to doing the following for those directly affected:

[evil corporation] will cover temporary living expenses for as long as the employee needs it

[evil corporation] will continue to pay our employees their full salary; for commissioned employees, we will keep their compensation "whole" based upon their performance prior to the hurricane

In instances where affected sales representatives wish to be re-assigned to a new territory, we will provide accommodations and support to facilitate that process (and we are getting the re-lo team involved to help us on that front)

Finally, [evil corporation] is giving each of these employees $5000 cash to help cover their "essentials" and help them get back on their feet
