What a beautiful day - spent last night watching the Yankee game with a bunch of Bosox fans and had to suffer while they basked in tying the AL East. Now I get to go into work and enjoy it all the more.

This was a tough year -that almost everyone wrote the Yankees off (and relished it at times).

Well how sweet it is - 8 AL East titles in a row - 9 in 10 years.

    now THAT is a dynasty

A Rod for MVP - Mariano for the Cy...

Too bad JTR wasn't here to share in the joy of the Yankees division title.

Now lets beat the BoSox tomorrow and hope the Indians win a single game from the White Sox.

Wow the team with a 70 million dollar payroll over everyone else had to clinch their playoff berth without a month left in the season?

I thought that is when the Yanks' season starts. Anyway Good luck vs. Anaheim or Cleveland.

    Go Sox/Indians/Angles/White Sox.

Let's not get started on "quality" pick-ups. I'd wipe your arse with that. The Yankees just pay more to someone else to have their mistakes go away.

the team with half of their pitching staff on the DL - Pavano lost for the year at the half way point, Brown being Brown, losing their rookie pitcher for 2 months, having to use Lieter, Chacon, Small, Proctor, Sturtze and others to start games.

The Red sox had their chances to knock the Yankees out of it and couldn't keep their foot on their throats. They came back and took the division - after a year of hearing how the Yankees were too old and were done - guess what.... we're back... The records are 0-0 and we're ready to play.
