Mike Ditka on 1050 ESPN Radio, and this is an exact Quote, word for word

I wouldn't be taking anything Mike Ditka has to say seriously. The guy is clueless when it comes to football. The world doesn't exist past Chicago.

Just for the record, I DO NOT think that is hyperbole

Having seen Reggie Bush with my own two eyes, I am equally as in awe

If I have the #1 Overall Pick, there is no-one else I even consider

IMO the talent of Reggie Bush is so far off the charts I can hardly find the words to describe it ... Ditka said it best ... this kid looks like some freakish Gale Sayers clone

BTW, for those who missed that thrilling Game on Saturday nite ... USC Vs Fresno State ... Reggie Bush accounted for 513 All-Purpose Yards {513!!}, in a Game where every inch and every point was desperately needed to keep USC's #1 Ranking in tact

In other words, very likely to keep USC's National Title hopes alive ... and Bush put that team on his back and carried them to victory when every inch of his 513 Yards was needed

And do you know who broke Gale Sayers records at Kansas?? None other then a Number 1 choice of the Jets in 71 John Riggens..That was also the year that Jim Plunkett was the first choice and Peyton's Dad Archie was the second choice..Riggens was the first back taken with the 6th choice! ;)

So does this mean the Jets should give up their entire draft for him? Ditka has zero credibility with me
