What's a better goverment option other than a democracy?
I agree.
Problem is the government that is forming in Iraq is NOT a democracy.
News to Ricky...
He had no WMDs. His program to reconstitute nuclear weopans was primitive and at best 10-20 years away from developing anything significant. He was NOT a threat.
He DID have them... and still could have rebuilt them (or uncovered them... or brought them back). Even 10-20 years away... you'd rather wait until he HAD them?!?!?!

I know, I know he hid them in"

    1) Syria
    2) The desert
    3) sold them to dim terrisss
    4) asked the magic genie to make the invisible so America wont see them!

Man what conspiracy theorist you are. You just cant accept that he really did not have anything.

Even 10-20 years away... you'd rather wait until he HAD them?!?

Using this logic there is at least a dozen or so "rogue" nations who are far ahead of where Iraq was with developing . Should we start wars with them too? Even if he had WMDs , is that areason to declare war? Lots of countries with dictators who dont like us have WMDs. Thats no reason to go to war.

How about we invade Venezuela, i mean they have a leader who doesnt like us, they have a socialist government, they have enough money to develop WMDs in the next 5-10 years, who knows maybe they already are developing them, and since they are so close, why not invade them as well. Why take a chance? why wait for them to have WMDs?

    Ahhhhh! The politics of fear!!!
Man it must suck to be so paranoid and fearful all the time!

    Two things...
    A) You'd rather believe Hussein saying he doesn't have them over the US, British, and Russian intelligence saying he does. Mm hm... but you're not partisan.
    B) You say I'M the conpiracy theorist? I can accept the fact that there is a possibility of his not having WMDs, but it's HIGHLY unlikely. On the flip side, YOU just can't accept that he really may have actually had some. Who's the blind one here?

No , I believe in what the international community found through weopans inspections. No WMDs and no evidence of reconstituting his nuclear program.

I CAN accept that he may have had some weopans. The evidence we have shows he did not. Even if he did , they were not of significance, and sure as hell not a reason to go to war!

kennyo must be one of those naive fools who gets sucked into the sidewalk shell games, loses his money and walks away muttering "how did he do that?"
Very simple:

Has there ever been a situation where :

Country A invades Country B, defeats and overthrows Country B's government. Then Country A occupies Country B and forms a government that will remain loyal to the ideals of country A. All this inspite of a group within Country B resisting the efforts of Country A and posing a threat (both by force and with politics)to the new government Country A is trying to form.

Success= The new government of Country B (formed by Country A) can last for more than 10 years w/o the presence of Country A in country B.

Likewise, so is you statement that anti-war sentiment here is enabling our enemy and hurting our troops. Until you can support this, it is worthless.
Germany.

    Japan.

    Hopefully, soon Iraq as well.

You can argue that the reasons for our actions were misguided. That is fine and dandy, as long as you are intellectually honest.

However, since we are ALREADY involved, rooting for the worst possible end (as you do on a daily basis) is wrong Ken. It's wrong and counterproductive for what is best for America GIVEN THE SITUATION AS IT NOW STANDS.

You are great at screming "GET OUT NOOOOOOOOWWWWWW!!!!". But you have no answer to combating Global Terrorism, vis a vis Islamo-Facism. If you do not see the threat this movement is to freedom, you are simply not worth my time.
