Best Barbecue Sauce

Your own recipe or store bought - what's your favorite. Here's mine:

1 cup ketchup
1/2 cup dry red wine
1/4 cup corn oil
1/4cup soy sauce
1/4 cup white wine vinegar
1 tablespoon dry mustard
1 tablespoon paprika
2 teaspoons black pepper
4 garlic cloves crushed
4 teaspoons dried oregano
** Key Ingredient** - 1 Double Shot good smoky scotch (I use Bowmore Islay http://www.bowmorescotch.com/html/home.html)

Blend all together.

This recipe is so good that people who didn't know the sauce was homemade were complimenting me on it, and even my brother (who, as brothers will, would die before complimenting me) admitted it was great :D

That recipe looks great Doggin.

I don't make homemade BBQ sauce but this stuff is excellent:

They also have a ziplock bag that comes with the BBQ sauce already in it -- you just toss is steaks, chicken, etc and let it marinate for a few hours.

You'll think I'm nuts, but the Shoprite Brand Hickory Sauce is really good.

Oh and always a great marinade for beef is a good Duck Sauce.

I work with a woman who is from Cinncinnati, and she swears by this stuff from the Montgomery Inn:

I've had it - it is pretty damned good.

Shoprite gets it from a main line manufacturer I bet. Look at the bottle and see if it's similar in design as Krafts or someone.

Stubb's is a great sauce. The marinades are just as good, great taste with a kick.

I like to use this when I make pork tenderloin on the grill...its so simple and delicious...

haha....I'm terrible at measuring...a large spoonful of dijon mustard and a few* tbsp teriyaki along with some chopped garlic and coriander
