It is high, it is far, it is... caught at the warning track. Gotta love Sterling.

Why did Zito look so terrible?

You guys won't have it so easy with Harden tonight, I promise you that.

I was wondering who the first person to come up with that gem would be.

For one reason or another, the Yankees always kill Zito. I believe he is 0-6 against us in his last 6 starts. It's never been like that, and Zito clearly had no command, but for whatever reason, we kill him.

Agreed on Harden, he's filthy. edit: It should be noted that Harden has a career 5.55 ERA against the Yankees. We'll see though - although it looks like this game will be postponed until tomorrow.

I believe, for his own sake, Zito should just accept a mediocre offer from the Yankees in the future. Hey, if you can't beat em...

If the Yankees make an offer, it won't be mediocre, it'll be an overpay.

Ditto I love the Yankees but most of the time they have all the leverage and still give it up to soon.

Why do you think that? We offered Farnsworth less than Texas did. We offered Dotel less than Boston did. We offered Pavano less than Boston and Detroit offered him and unfortunately, he came here. Many years ago, we offered Mussina less than the Mets offered him. Beltran was willing to come to the Yankees for less than the Mets offered him. Steinbrenner usually wants a guy that wants to be a Yankee and Cashman seems to not go above what he thinks is market value. Granted, there are exceptions to this (Giambi comes to mind), but overall, the Yankees usually don't offer more than other teams.

Maybe they should save some of that "boom" for October.

I know its early and meaningless- but putting Scott Proctor in a game pretty much means an L.

Unfortunately they don't... Check out A-Rod's postseason numbers and then come back to me.

An idiotic move by an idiotic manager. The day that this overated piece of sh*t is gone will be a great day for me.
