I'm a Yankee fan, but I have to say, that's a badass stadium!!!

I'm definately going to a game to check out the new diggs (if they actually build it, of course).

Ok well if thats the case maybe he can drive in 100 runs for the 20mil a year the Mets are paying him...The 78 last year was a complete joke...People want to get on me about being tough on him early on but didnt ayone watch this kid last year...He sucked!! And id bet my life he doesnt hit more then 20 homers this year and wont drive in 100 runs..For 20 mil a year that would make him the biggest bust of all time..

It's gonna be built on the site of the chop shops. Directly behind the center field wall.

I can't wait till they have a fire sale of Shea Stadium items. I'd love to get a few chairs for my den.

I am a yanks fan but it is about time the Mets get a new place to play shea is a dump. That new stadium looks great and folks it is going to be built in the parking lot next to left field from what I have read. Just think there could be 3 new parks in the tri-state in the next 3 years if everything goes right.

actually its gonna be in the parking lot behind the outfield of the current stadium, across the street from what currently is the chop shops

I'm not looking forward to paying double what it costs now to go to a game. 12,000 less seats, I hope the Mets don't plan on making the World Series so i won't be angry at them for building a stadium with so few seats

Too bad it does not incorporate our NY Jets. Sorry, still upset about the Jersey deal.
