I haven't watched any of the game, just pretty much reading whats going on on mlb.com's gameday. But it looked like he was mowing right through the Nats lineup. He's had 13 solid innings of pitching, and that one disaster of an inning last week. Right now having him in the rotation, and Heilman in the pen seems to look like the correct call by Willie, granted it is very early still.

Ageed. I am doing the same. Loks like the only blip today was a solo HR to Soriano in the 7th.

    It's over.

Wagner does his John Franco imitation by loading the bases in the 9th before getting the stikeout.

The Mets are looking quite nice but Wagner is far from dominant. He was very Mel Rojasesque in the 9th inning today.

Tomorrows game should be interesting. The pressure is on the Gnats to retaliate and to win a game. Any deep inside pitch to Wright/LoDuca/Martinez could get someone tossed.
If its a close game, nothing happens. If either team has a comfortable lead--watch out!
