I had a feeling he was around this point. Just didn't think it'd be out in the open. He probably didn't get CC:'d on the "Shut up, Stupid!" memo.

I really hope Chad returns to form...that would be wonderful.

    Interesting note:

This is the 31st week since Chad's second surgery and he is throwing, healing, and rehabbing. Opening weekend vs. the Chiefs last season was the 31st week after his first surgery.

He still has has 4 more months of healing time before opening day this season. It really would be great if he could return to old form. I'm expecting the worst though. This way I can't be dispointed.

It sounds like he will bring it against Ramsey;however, the remark about 31 other teams, leads you to believe even he doesn't know what's going to happen.
    May the best man win.

I think Chad's more talented than Ramsey, no doubt. I'd love to see him come back from injury. If he played well we'd have a shot at 8 wins or maybe more. But I don't think it's going to happen.

You gotta love the attitude though.

I hope that he is ready because with the QB line up that we have right now the more the marrier.

It will be something or somehow Brooks beats one of the qb's out. I think that kid has a lot of heart and I can't see him just bowing out that easy.

What a story it will be if he comes back from this... I am one of many that will owe the guy a major apology... I have jumped off his ship completely and gave him no shot in the world to come back... I really look forward to camp...

Now here is a big IF.......
IF Chad comes back healthy, that changes everything for us.
IF Chad can stay healthy, that changes everything in the AFC East.
IF Chad gets back to 02 form, that would be one of the greatest stories in the history of the franchise.
IF Chad doesn't come back healthy, stay healthy, and get back to 02 form...we are already prepared.

    I'm rooting for ya Penny!!!
Get back, and watch how quickly the whole Jets team gets fired up!

Say what you will about Chad, but if you're a true Jets fan you want nothing but success for this guy because it only makes our team better. Being forced to battle for the starting job in camp could be one of the best things that ever happens to him. My prediction...

2006 - Pennington starts, Ramsey backs up, Clemens holds clipboard
2007 - Pennington starts, Clemens backs up, we'll have a 3rd QB on the roster not named Brooks Bollinger.
