Yanks and Mets, Pedro vs Mussina

This should be a good pitching matchup. Pedro is undefeated and hopefully will stay that way. We need to win when we have our good pitchers on the mound.

what a thoroughlt entertaining game last night. should be a good game today. i still think moose is a p*ssy, and i feel the mets will jump all over him tonight. problem there is that the yankees have a tendency to jump all over pedro as well. although last year he pitched well against the yanks.

The Yanks do not generally "jump all over Pedro." We usually beat Pedro because our pitcher does a great job, not because of Pedro. Or because Pedro tires out. Either way, Moose has been brilliant this year and is our ace. The Yanks will win this game and it'll be a low scoring affair. Something like 4-1 Yanks.

well the yanks won, but only because randolph is too stupid to pull out a pitcher who obviously has lost his control. wagner was squuezed pretty good on a couple of pitches, but he couldn't keep his composure out there. pedro was brilliant, he really deserved to win this game.

Wagner was far from squeezed. There was not one pitch that was called a ball that should have been a strike for him.

As for Willie, he should have pulled Wagner after he gave up the walk to Stinett, but that wasn't too bad of a managing job. Wagner lost the game/Melky Cabrera won it with a great AB against him that turned the game around.

you have your opinion. they didn't show a better angle, but imo, gay-rod looked at strike 3. oh and it was terrible managing job.

Why is it such a bad managing job to put in your ace closer with a 4 run lead? Besides possibly overusing him?
