You are begging for the owl pic .
Man did we really screw da pooch on this one..
Kazmir is 9-4 after todays dominating performance..3 hits and 8 K's...
He is 9-4 with a 3.21 era..9 wins for the stinking Rays..If he is on the Mets he might be starting for the National league in the All-Star game..He is exactly what the Mets staff needs and the team needs..A dominating young starter..
I hate to bring this up again but it kills me to see how good this kid is and we got nothing for him..

i was having a pretty good day Locke...thanks for ruining it...
As a Met fan I can say this, but we really have to get over this trade. What most
Met fans fail to realize is that trade was a pivot point for the whole organization. The
Wilpons saw their failures in all facets of the team and made sweeping changes
based on the trade. Think about it:
- They demoted Duquette and hired Minaya
- Minaya revamped the scouting, personnel and medical departments
- Minaya dumped the "old boy" network of Leiter & Franco who had too much influence
on the front office
- The Wilpons then put out the money to get Martinez & Beltran
Stop crying about the trade and think about what happened because of it
It could be worse. I remember when the Mets trade Nolan Ryan and he went on to pitch all those no hitters.

Yeah it hurts seeing him pitch so damn well. Especially for the Friggin D-Rays
What really also stinks is the kid really wanted to be a MET. Now he's rotting in Tampa. What a waste.

By fanning eight today, Kazmir joined Minnesota's Johan Santana as the only AL pitchers with 100 strikeouts this season.
Horrible trade when it went down, looks even worse now.
so let me get this straight...youre a yankee fan who bought a devil rays jersey just to wear to games at shea?..sounds to me like someone has problems...Originally Posted by kenetics81
all i see is a series of 1 yr contracts at arbitration-- when did he sign long term? i couldn't find that anywhere. anyway, i assume his salary jumped when he signed for 4 years, so the rays will have to shop him down the stretch one of those years...Originally Posted by Ikeyman3

He only has 1+ year of ML service time, you need 6 to become a FA.
yeah, but didn't kevin costner pitch a perfecto against your team? how sorry is that, i mean it's kevin costner.Originally Posted by kenetics81
