O.T. And the truth comes out!

No. 10: A Brave new world
It has to happen sometime, but given the infusion of young talent that guided Atlanta to a 14th consecutive division title in 2005, it didn't look like that time was now.

But it is. The Braves, a remarkable model of consistency under manager Bobby Cox and GM John Schuerholz, will need a miracle to extend their run now.

Fun while it lasted, though. Anyone who denigrates them for not winning it all more than once has no clue how hard it is to do what they've done.
    The Truth

This goes especially for brooklynbound...who happens to be infatuated on the subject.

No doubt about it. When it comes to the peak of consistency in winning divisiion titles, the Braves are it! Just as when it comes to consistency to getting to the post season and faltering, the Braves are........well they did win one WS for all those years of effort. 1 out of 14 isn't all bad......or is it?

Yeah, its real hard to be consistant when you've got Smoltz, Glavine, and Maddux for a decade.

No one is gonna say what they did wasn't amazing, or unbelievable.

But they still remain the biggest chokers in modern baseball, for wasting 13 or whatever number it is of postseasons.
