    Bottom of the 9th

It would be a shame to come this far and lose the game. Mets down 8-7, LGM!

Strike out. Reyes is showing signs of regressing to the free swinger. Hope not.

Two outs. Down to Beltran for our last out. Beltran is 5-6 w/ a HR vs Dempster.

I'll put another one on Willie. How can you possibly bring Heath Bell into any game that's winable? Criminal!

Because you don't want to burn out the pen's arm's by August?

Oliver worked yesterday, so he was ruled out. And BTW Bell put up 2.1 scorless innings.

Everyone is always out to blame willie. I think hes blown one game this year. And it was last week with trax and his use of the bullpen.

Managers aren't really important as long as teh players play hard. Players decide 98% of the games.

Granted, but I only want to see this guy when the game's out of reach. We just came off the All Star break, so that's really no excuse. The runs weren't charged to Bell, but I'd rather Traschel gut it out then bring in a guy who shouldn't even be in the league.

Isn't it ironic? This time he was too quick the the hook. As for the blame, well it's not like we're bashing him for being 12 games out.

Trax was finished, he actually had nothing to begin with tonight. Bell was the right guy in that spot.

We definetly need another starter that can go 6 innings every start.

The only thing I didn't like what Willie did tonight was PH Endy Chavez over Julio Franco. Granted he likes the L/R stuff, but Franco has a much better chance of hitting one over the fence in that spot.

Anytime your SP goes 4.2 and gives up 8 ER you are probably gonna lose.
