reyes has scored 88 runs this season. good for second in the entire major leagues. thats the most important stat if you ask me. and he'd probably be first still if utley didn't go on this 35 game hitting streak.

Leading the League in Runs, Triples, and Stolen Bases is a BIG DEAL.

Reyes is turning out to be as sick as we knew he would.

I stand corrected. I think Wright might've caught his disease, tho.

You mean with his .309 BA and .383 OBP?

You were right. A .350 OBP is very good for a guy like Reyes. If he can get it to, say, .380, watch out.

In about a year, Reyes has turned into perhaps the most unique player in the game. A young table setter who has the capability hit 300+, to steal 70 bags a year while scoring 140 or so runs with 75RBI and 15-20 HR for a long time. The guy is so young right now, the sky is the limit with this kid. He is having an MVP type season right now. A player with this type of skill set is so incredibly rare, Rickey Henderson may be the only other player in history who had this type of ability. Not to say that Reyes is there yet, but he's got that potential.
